The Status rock The Purple Turtle

Our talented Year 9 band, The Status, took to the stage at The Purple Turtle in Reading on Sunday, 23rd March, for their Sunday Sessions event.

Performing a fantastic half-hour set, they treated the packed audience—filled with parents, friends, and music lovers—to covers of classic hits by Oasis, Coldplay, Fontaines DC and Embrace, as well as their own original song, Forever Gliding.

The band's performance was outstanding, with their energy and musicianship impressing everyone in attendance. Their hard work and talent have clearly made an impact, as the Entertainment Manager of The Purple Turtle has already invited them back for another gig in the coming months!
