Students make all the right moves in House Chess Tournament

Students from across the school recently took part in the annual House Chess Competition, demonstrating impressive levels of concentration, tactical awareness, and competitive spirit throughout the tournament.

The event brought together players from all year groups, with each match providing exciting moments as students carefully planned their strategies and responded calmly under pressure. From clever openings to well-worked endgames, the competition highlighted both the skill and enthusiasm of our young chess players.

Following a series of closely contested rounds, we are pleased to announce this year’s winners:

Congratulations to all of the winners, and well done to every student who participated. Their excellent sportsmanship and commitment helped make the competition such an enjoyable and successful event.
