Ski Trip 2026: Jasper, Canada

Ski Trip 2026: Jasper, Canada
News / 24 Feb 2026

40 students travelled across the Atlantic Ocean for a 'trip of a lifetime' week skiing in Jasper, Canada.

Even before they planted a ski on the snow, students had overnight stay in Toronto, where they were able to see 3 stadiums - Toronto FC, Blue Jays Baseball and the Toronto Raptors, before visiting the CN Tower and the breathtaking Niagara Falls. After a connecting flight to Calgary and a stop off at beautiful Banff for dinner we arrived in the sleepy town of Jasper, Alberta.  33

The hotel was in an outstanding location, close to local shops and restaurants, surrounded by the breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains. Students travelled the short distance via coach to the ski resort - Marmot Basin, which provided the perfect canvas to  develop their skiing under the warm guidance of the expert instructors.

With quiet slopes and plenty of terrain that ranged from beginner to expert level, all students were suitably challenged throughout the week. We were blessed with blue skies, fresh snow and temperatures warmer than anticipated, gifting superb powder days and extra fun skiing opportunities.

Instructors challenged all groups with a range of technical drills; from one-footed skiing, to carving, angulation and snow plough drills focussing on the outside ski. Progress was evident in all groups and it was fantastic to see students' confidence grow day by day! 27

Beyond the slopes, students dined out most evenings and visited two local ice hockey games and two shopping outlets. The drive from Jasper to Calgary Airport along the spectacular IceFields Parkway, named one of the most beautiful drives in the world, was truly epic.

Thank you to all the students for their good humour, enthusiasm to learn, 'Aspiring To Become Elite' drive and being one big happy family for the whole trip. Feedback from parents and students has been overwhelming. Where will the 2026 ski trip take us next.....
