Dear Parents, Carers and Students,

The English Department would like to encourage students in Y7 and 8 to get involved with Igniting Writing - a wonderful creative writing club for young people running through Wokingham Library. Please find information from Alex Baker below:

I'm delighted to announce that Wokingham Library is now resuming the Igniting Writing sessions remotely. Running these online sessions will hopefully be a way to get young writers to come together, share ideas and develop their storytelling.

We're holding the online Igniting Writing sessions monthly, with the next one scheduled for Saturday 11th July at 10:30am. If any pupils want to join in, all they need to do is have a parent or guardian email Elizabeth McDonald, the Wokingham Library Young People and Families Outreach Manager, with their name, age and school, requesting to be part of the session. Elizabeth can be contacted on elizabeth.mcdonald@wokingham.gov.uk and she can then send them the link to dial in.

Boys, please embrace this fantastic opportunity; exercise those imaginations and get creative!
